Charley is a 6 year-old, first grader at Bridgepoint Elementary School in Austin, Texas. In the summer of 2016, Charley, her father, and her siblings were in a serious car crash that left Charley unable to walk. Her recovery has been a series miracles, amazing doctors, loving parents, and army of supportive friends and family members.
Through her tenacity and hard work, she has made amazing progress and is months away from walking again.
Charley and her parents, along with dozens of other patients around Texas, drive to Fort Worth once a week for therapy utilizing a specialized piece of equipment called a Lokomat at The Neurological Recovery Center in West Fort Worth.
